BERYL MARTIN INC. Statue of Liberty being constructed outside of Chicago, Illinois for a major convention event in St. Louis. The Statue was carved out of Styrofoam in about forty 2m x 2m sections. Then it was hard coated in Chemthane 7446FR Patina Green and top coated with a UV resistant acrylic paint.
A caravan of 80 trucks drove the sample 563 km from Chicago to St. Louis. The entire statue was reassembled in the indoor sports stadium in St. Louis. |
